Lean process

Often lean is mistaken for simple process inside an organization.

The core of lean is to maximize customer value while minimizing waste. Lean can be used to create more value to customers with optimal resources.

A lean organization understands customer value and focuses to continuously increase productivity. The ultimate goal in lean is to form a process that has zero waste.

There are lots of connection between agile virtual and lean principles. Agile facilitates process to be more adaptive to customer goals than concentrating on the process itself.  Virtual organization leverages more scalability using dispersed organizational techniques that allows rapid resource allocation globally.

There are good good books about lean management principles but I found this one worth reading. Practices for Scaling Lean & Agile Development: Large, Multisite, and Offshore Product Development with Large-Scale Scrum

I will be discussing lean principle application in detail which can be use agile virtual organization.

Good post on Lean process, I do not agree with you completely but do agree some points. One major thing about Lean process is that it cannot be easily adapted in Remote. In our company we work in close proximity when adapting Lean princples.
